Aura clearing, or smudging, is something we can do at our store location in Phoenix (4773 North 20th Street, Phoenix AZ 85016). Although donations are graciously accepted, there is no charge for this service. The process is done by fanning the smoke of sage and other herbs/resins through a person’s aura. Most often we use a feather fan, although we sometimes use breath and hands to direct the smoke. This is an intuitive process, so the clearing can take anywhere from one minute to nearly half hour. Each person is unique – your uniqueness and individual needs are respected and honored. If you find smoke to be an irritant, or have allergies to herb smoke, the aura can still be cleared using spritzes of hydrosols, dilute essential oils, flower essences and fanning. We also demonstrate how to use the smudging herbs so that you can do it yourself at home.
